The Hitchhiker's Guide to PHP

The open source scripting language PHP is becoming one of the world's most popular web application programming languages. And with Oracle's announcement last summer that Oracle Application Server will include a version of PHP, it will become an even more relevant choice for developers who want to get their applications off the ground quickly and easily.

In this multi-week series, OTN will give you a taste of the full spectrum of technical issues related to the PHP development lifecycle, from planning through deployment. Most important, it will include descriptions of real-world experiences from project managers and engineers who have deployed PHP applications.
